As the year winds down, I can’t help but reflect, and the only feeling I have is gratitude. Yes, TPI has met with success beyond what I could have imagined. When I see the social media of the families that we helped create it makes my heart sing! I am so happy for these families, the people that wanted twins and are now changing diapers more than they ever expected! And, those that are appreciating their first born. They touch my heart every day!
But, none of it would not be possible without my amazing team that makes it happen. My surrogacy coordinator, Rebecca, is here for every surrogate that comes our way! She consults with every applicant that wants to help a family and takes it from the first consult to the delivery. I can’t even text before I know she is on the way to the hospital to be with her girls!! It happened again just last week when my phone rang at 7:00 am for her to tell me she was on her way since the surrogate thought she was in labor. And, a shout out to our amazing surrogate who was driving herself to the hospital!
And, we couldn’t get to that place without Julie, our certified women’s health nurse practitioner who is an asset to our amazing team! No one can add her medical expertise to an agency. And, she has an assistant, Leesa, who also is a nurse and an expert at medical records and health insurance.
My last hat is off to my director of operations. Marcus, who amazes and impresses all new IPs with his gift of finances and timeline of expenses. Everyone loves him!
Of course, I can’t ignore Rebecca’s assistant, Tara, who is a three-time surrogate, and currently on bedrest with twins. She is so wonderful, never a complaint!
I love my team and my job. I am so grateful for those that have given me the opportunity to help build peoples’ families!
